"Heathen clouds and firey flames and hope that never die - All is well that ends in time and plans that never fly - Will get us there in times of war and we will never fail - To always know we were the last and set a new fresh sail..."

To find the beginning of Finding Serendipity we have to go back approximately a few years. There has always been a latent dream of that vagabond, sad, lonely and at the same time warm and comforting feeling, best portrayed in the series "Firefly" and the movie "Serenity", created by Joss Whedon. The idea of a homage to these masterpieces was born within Dragontail Media and in the early summer of 2009 we finished the basic outline of the script and started working on screenplay. Being a non profit project we have since then struggled with equipment, crew and actors since a motto these days seems to be "do nothing for free".

But we found a proud group and a few sponsors that were ready to do just that.

Late September filming started and plans are to finish the last scenes in mid November. Editing will progress into January/February. The finished result will be presented in episodes of eight, both here on this site and on every other site capable of showing video feeds.

Seeing how the project has matured and how the storyline have growed, this simple homage has grown from a small project to a life of its own. So keep your eyes open, because before long we will welcome you aboard the F.C.V. Ragnhild Moonbow and sail on an epic adventure in the unknown and changed waters of the central world.

Until then...
